The Night I Went to College =)

This is Miki. I've known Miki since I was 9 and living in Okinawa, Japan. Our families also lived in Beale AFB at the same time too. Moral of this story, Miki has been one of my best friends for like half of my life! I hadn't seen her in 5 freaking years!! Well her family now lives in Almagordo, NM which is only 4 hours away from where my family now lives but she started going to UNM about a month ago. UNM is only about 30 minutes away from me and this last weekend I ended up going to a church dance that was being held at UNM! I wrote on her fb wall in the hopes that maybe she'd see it and we could meet up. She did =) she went to the DJ and had him announce for me to go up to the stage so I could meet up with her, we did the whole cliche thing of screaming like teenage girls and running into each others arms. Totally EPIC! I ended up crashing in her dorm for the night and we spent the entire night and a good portion of the morning catching up with each other. It was amazing, 5 years did nothing to fray our friendship! We had such a blast and I met some of the funniest people ever!

All in all, that was one of the best nights ever!! =D
(oh and the dance totally rocked too. us Mormons sure know how to throw a party!)

Music Challenge Day 13:

A guilty pleasure song? Don't mind if I do! This song had been stuck in my head for months but I could never remember it for the life of me when I would finally sit down at my computer and try to look it up. So I was bouncing out of my seat when I heard it playing on Step Up 3D, which by the way was fantastic haha really the Step Up movies are my guilty pleasure but now this song is forever connected to them =)

Ever since the came out with that depressing song about waking up when September ends, they've just gotten worse.. blech. I get that they're trying to be deep and show how much they love their country, but I think they could do it with a much faster tempo.

 Okay so this song doesnt bore me to death, its just super peaceful to listen to and I fell completely in love with it when I moved away from my boyfriend in '09. It reminds me of him everytime I listen to it and that's what relaxes me =) this song is beautiful!
